Martin Shelley Drive & Tow Limited is an independent driver training company established in 2007, based in the Northamptonshire area. The company is owned and run by Martin Shelley who has been in the driver training business since 1996.

Martin started teaching mainly learner drivers and has gained a top grade 6 for the last 12 years as an instructor.

In January 1997 when the law changed regarding towing Martin began to teach trailer training . He had many years experience of towing having driven articulated vehicles prior to becoming a driving instructor.

The business now consists of mostly trailer training and Martin has gained a good reputation in this area of training. Martin has had trainees from as far away as Newcastle travel down for training. Many rural, non-profit making training groups use Martin as their instructor.

Drive & Tow has an Ifor Williams twin axle trailer and a single axle Coachman caravan.* The vehicle, which Martin uses for training is a Seat Leon. Trainees can use their own vehicle for their training and their own caravan or trailer. 

Martin now runs a variety of courses for trainees needing to gain the B&E licence for business or personal use. First time caravan owners needing to gain some experience or to gain confidence to tow. Experienced farm workers, tree surgeons and landscapers who need to gain the licence for work, equestrians and rowers who need to tow either heavy or unusual trailers. Martin Shelley Drive & Tow Limited can arrange a course to meet most needs.
